Marriage is not sustained by love alone. Love must be accompanied by respect, kindness, patience, understanding, and a sincere commitment to pleasing Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
Love your husband—not only when things are easy and beautiful, but also during moments when life becomes challenging. Respect him, appreciate his efforts, and be mindful of the words you speak to him. Sometimes, a kind word, a gentle response, or a simple expression of appreciation can strengthen a heart more than we realize.
And above all, never stop praying for your home.
Pray for your husband. Pray for love and mercy between you. Pray for understanding during disagreements. Pray that Allah protects your marriage from anything that may destroy its peace and bless your home with happiness, righteousness, and tranquillity.
A successful home is not necessarily one without problems. It is a home where both husband and wife continue to turn to Allah, work through their challenges, forgive one another, and remember why they chose each other.
Love him. Respect him. Make duʿāʾ for him. And never stop asking Allah to protect and bless your home. May Allah fill our homes with love, mercy, peace, understanding, and barakah. Āmīn.
