As a parent, I intentionally teach my son valuable life lessons. I remind him that Allah has blessed him with many sisters, and it’s essential to treat women with kindness, empathy, and patience. I emphasize the importance of being a responsible leader who cares for those under his guidance with the fear of Allah. I encourage him to stand tall for his siblings, protecting them from harm and treating them with honor and respect, recognizing their fragility and dignity as women.
I believe every mother raising a male child should be intentional about shaping his character, breaking cycles of negativity, and fostering a God-fearing, tolerant, and humble individual. A boy who listens to others, considers different perspectives, and is independent in his thoughts and actions. May Allah guide our children to become successful individuals in this world and the hereafter, embodying the values of compassion, respect, and integrity.
